Description
Body length 5mm. The head and thorax are heavily pitted cyan and the abdomen is magenta.
Habitat
Often found around brambles, the females searching for the nests of their host species of solitary wasps.
Status and Distribution
Fairly widespread and scattered over southern Britain. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.
Best Time to See
May to August.
