Description
Over all length 3 – 4mm. A dark groundbug with a reddish-brown band across the hind-part of the thorax. The antennae have the first two segments, and part of the third, pale.
Habitat
Various habitats, often nettles. This one was on bramble.
Status and Distribution
Common and widespread through most of England and Wales. Less common in the West Country and uncommon in most of Scotland. Common in Nottinghamshire and recorded once at Netherfield Lagoons.
