The Slurry Lagoon was crowded with ducks, gulls and Lapwings. A fox trotted along the beach but the birds showed little concern, it seemed to be feeding on bird faeces. Mid morning a very smart Stonechat landed in the reed-bed, but didn’t stay around long enough to get its photo taken. PS.
