This morning eleven Whooper Swans flew over the Large Gravel Pit and Deep Pit. Also a Raven was heard calling
Raven – 17th January
Early this afternoon a Raven was perched on the new pylon, calling. It then flew off, still calling. JMD.
Treecreeper – 16th January
At mid-day today a Treecreeper and a Chiffchaff were seen along the Ouse Dyke. JMD.
Bittern – 13th January
This evening a Bittern was seen flying from the Slurry Lagoon into the Deep Pit. RW.
