Whooper Swan – 3rd November
This morning there were 11 Whooper Swan in total. 6 flew through west calling, there was a single bird briefly
Stonechat – 1st November
This morning a pair of Stonechats were on the Ecopark. The Slurry Lagoon had masses of ducks, coots and gulls

A Merlin flew SW through the Deep Pit and over the rail bridge field this afternoon. The 1st Winter Caspian Gull
Brambling – 28th October
This morning a Brambling flew over the Ecopark. Other finch species in a large flock along the Ouse Dyke included
Fieldfare – 25th October
This morning a small flock of Fieldfares flew over the Slurry Lagoon. There were also some Redwings in the Slurry
Pink-footed Goose – 22nd October
This afternoon 120 Pink-footed Geese flew over the site. In the evening there were 2,500 Starlings coming in to roost.
Brambling – 18th October
This morning a Brambling flew over the Wader Scrape. Later two Lesser Redpolls were also seen. PS.
