Patchwatch – 9th May
Sixty-five species were counted this morning, including Cuckoo and Treecreeper. The number of warblers singing in the afternoon was breath-taking.

This evening a Cuckoo was heard calling from the birches in the Slurry Lagoon reed bed. DM/PR.

This morning there were two Swifts with the hirundines feeding over the Slurry Lagoon and Deep Pit. Four Garden Warblers
Dunlin – 4th May
In the early evening six Dunlin, two Ringed Plovers and two Little Ringed Plovers were seen on the Ecopark. JDn.
Great White Egret – 1st May
Early this afternoon a Great White Egret flew down river. There were two Hobbies and a Wheatear on the riverside

Arctic Tern – 28th April
In the afternoon thirteen Arctic Terns went through and there were also four or more Common Terns on the site.
Cuckoo – 24th April
There was a Cuckoo calling from the reeds on the Slurry Lagoon. Two Yellow Wagtails were on the Ecopark, also
