The two Pintail were seen on the Slurry Lagoon again this morning, along with several Wigeon, Teal, Shoveler, Gadwall and Mallard. The Lapwings were present again on the beach and five Snipe flew around the lagoon several times before dropping into the reed-bed. Although not seen there were at least eight Water Rail calling from various parts of the site and the “White” Buzzard was hunting from bushes near the Large Gravel Pit. Two small flocks of Fieldfares were seen as well as a few Redwing. PS.
