Peregrine – 21st October

A Peregrine flew over the site this morning towards its favourite pylon. The two Pintail were still on the Slurry Lagoon, the male looking more obviously a male as it moults from its eclipse plumage. The Lapwings were still on the beach and were later joined by a Great Egret and a flock of Redwings was in the Hawthorns overlooking the Wader Scrape. The light passage of Skylarks continued and a Redpoll and Siskin were heard going over. PS.
