Description
Over all length 6.5 – 8.5mm. The wings are transparent and form a roof over the abdomen. They are lightly marked with dark spots and a transverse band.
Habitat
A wide variety of deciduous trees and shrubs.
Status and Distribution
Widespread and common throughout Britain. Fairly common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.
Best Time to See
May to October.
