Blackcap – 29th January
Two Green Sandpipers are still on the Ecopark and two Chiffchaffs and a Blackcap were seen along the Ouse Dyke.
Chiffchaff – 21st January
Today two Chiffchaffs were seen along the Ouse Dyke. Also a Treecreeper was seen and a Green Sandpiper. Three Snipe

This morning a Barn Owl was seen hunting along the Boundary Hedge. Two Egyptian Geese flew over to the flooded

This morning a Peregrine was seen on the new pylon. A Bittern was seen flying over the Slurry Lagoon and
Goosander – 9th December
This morning, during the Bird Count, two female Goosanders landed on the Deep Pit. Also recorded were a Chiffchaff, Treecreeper
Firecrest – 10th April
The Firecrest was still in the Hawthorns along the Ouse Dyke this evening. RW.
