This evening three Woodcock were seen flying to feeding areas at dusk. Four Green Sandpipers are on the Ecopool along

This evening about 4,000 Starlings came in to the roost and there is still at least one Bearded Tit. On

This morning, amongst the Shovelers, Teal, Tufted Duck and Gadwall on the Slurry Lagoon were a superb pair of Red-breasted
Goosander – 24th December
This morning the Slurry Lagoon carried a good variety of ducks, including Shoveler, Teal, Goldeneye and Pochard, and three Goosander
Blackcap – 8th January
At about mid-day a male Blackcap was seen along the Ouse Dyke. A Water Rail was also seen in the

Early this afternoon a Willow Tit was seen along the Lower Path. On the Slurry Lagoon there was a Dunlin

A very cold day at the lagoons. The Teal on the Slurry Lagoon were all out, standing on the ice.
